I paint life as a sea. Throughout my life I have felt strongly linked to the ocean. I transpose my experiences and emotions to the seascape.
I work with a lot of water, a very important element in my work, due to the need to enter the intuitive world and flow of images.
I am also searching to express the way I relish different textures and the sensation of the organic. Many times I paint on the floor, dripping water and colors that are sometimes more liquid and other times thicker. I work with layers. I try to create the sensation of depth that submerges the viewer. I express color, transparencies, light and energy.
I express life as different degrees of light and dark. I try to express the capacity we have as human beings to go towards the light in spite of the darkness.
